In his 30 years as a liturgical music director, Robell has been involved in writing, arranging, and conducting on over 17 recording projects. The goal at St. Joseph Cathedral? The principal choir will be the congregation.

“Pat Robell has been an important professional colleague of mine for many years. As a teacher he has the remarkable gift of understanding exactly where students are and then inspiring them to achieve their very best. As a musician he is adept in a number of styles and widely respected for his ability to train, develop and lead musicians in classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. As a liturgical musician, he has a profound pastoral sense of the church’s musical prayer, and uses the latest technologies to produce scores and instrumental parts and assembly worship materials that are clear, idiomatic, and elegant.”  Dr. James Savage Director of Music St. James Cathedral Seattle (1981-2014)
