Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Patient and hard-working St. Joseph, you provided for your family by the sweat of your brow. You built a home where Mary and Jesus were kept safe in your protection. You sacrificed time and labor to make sure the Holy Family lived in comfort. You not only gave glory to God by your life, but you provided a place for Him to grow in stature and wisdom. Thank you for your model for us. Please pray for us and guide us in our daily tasks. Please teach us to do all our works with love for God. Please also pray for those of us who seek employment that they would find meaningful work soon. We love you as our own Spiritual Father and look to you as our role model. St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us.
